If you are at University and are struggling with getting your words across, having difficulty with nailing those references; or you just want to attain a better grade by making your work clear and concise for the marker, then this service is exactly what you need.

Spell check is a great tool, but it can’t do everything. If for example you have sentences that are repeating themselves, or your idea is not being conveyed concisely, you need your work properly proofread. Our well trained professionals can pick out those mistakes that are easy to miss when you’re so involved in your work, giving your final piece a more defined and polished feel to it.

The simple answer is yes, however, it is advised that you do have a quick read of our terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee to offer the same service for all courses. We will advise where technical or legal terms are being used in essay, whether we think they are correctly contextualised, this is so that you know we have thought about what you have written, and also so you can if you could possibly write it better.

We have a meticulous application and testing process for all of our Proofreaders and the minimum qualification we accept is a first class undergraduate degree. This ensures that our proofreaders are suitably qualified to give a professional and accurate judgment on your highly valued work.

By registering an account with us, you are providing all the details we need to contact you regarding any work you have submitted. It also allows you to track the progress of your work and keep a complete record of all the previous documents you have submitted to us. Finally, it gives you access to our additional help pages which illustrate how you can simply improve the structure of your work and, perhaps more importantly, give you an insight into what Microsoft Word can really do for you.

Universities do allow a third party to proofread an individual’s work, and here at ProofreadMyEssay we only offer services that are in line with the Code of Conduct - correcting your grammar, sentence structure, spelling and punctuation. Any websites offering services above and beyond this are effectively playing the role of a tutor, which is a direct infringement of any University’s Code of Conduct.

Checking your references is a standard part of our proofreading service.

We ask our customers to highlight all words (in red or yellow or anyother obvious colour) which are an integral part of their essay - this includes all technical words or phrases and any words or phrases which need to be written in the particular order they appear. This way, our proofreaders can pick up your ideas correctly and avoid any misinterpretation of your work, allowing us to effectively amend your essays and get you the marks you deserve! We accept all major credit and debit cards. We cannot accept cheques, bank transfers, etc as we endeavor to get your work back to you as soon as physically possible.

No! We provide you with a ‘what you see is what you pay’ service: there are no additional charges applied once you get through to the payment pages.

We only accept documents which have been saved with the suffix ‘.doc’and ‘.docx’, as our proofreaders need to use the Track Changes tools within Word to amend your work.

All submitted work is kept within our secure database and ProofreadMyEssay guarantee that no work will ever be passed onto third parties. All work can be deleted upon written request from the user if they have any concerns. All work is deleted once twelve calendar months have elapsed from the date of final approval.

We have a size limit of 16mb; all submissions above this limit will automatically be rejected. We advise that you remove some if not all pictures to reduce the file size. We only restrict the size to make the life of the users easy, as at peak times uploads and downloads may be slower than usual.

We realise how important keeping an eye on the finances can be whilst at University and so our service aims to offer you the best possible value for money. Our automated document processing service allows us to avoid administration costs and we pass all of these saving onto you, the student.

Alternatively, you can track the progress of your work in your ‘My Documents Area’ page. There will be an up to date log of how far your work is through the proofreading process.

We provide a marked copy with all the changes clearly visible and a clean copy with all the changes made. This way you can see exactly what we have edited and are easily able to alter any of our changes should you wish.

We with hold the right to refuse any cash refunds if we believe we have acted in our fullest capabilities to improve your written work.

Our service focuses on making your work attractively legible to the marker, to make them feel that your work is well written and that you have spent the time reading over and improving it. This should ultimately help you achieve the grade you deserve, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific grades, as this would place us in direct conflict with your University’s Code of Conduct.
